Founded in the late 1970s by Kenneth Creber, Rivercoombe Building Company has grown from a small, local business into one of South Devon’s most trusted building firms. Built on a foundation of hard work, honest service, and exceptional craftsmanship, the company has proudly remained in the Creber family for three generations.

In 1980, Kenneth was joined by his son Andrew Creber, followed by his second son, Nick Creber, in 1983. Together, they expanded the company’s reach across Devon, developing a strong reputation and an ever-growing portfolio of high-quality building projects.

The next chapter of Rivercoombe began in 2004, when Andrew’s son, Jamie Creber, joined the business — bringing fresh energy and ensuring the family values at the heart of the company continued into the modern era.

Today, Rivercoombe Building Company continues to thrive as a multi-generational family business, combining traditional workmanship with modern building techniques. Based in Teignmouth and serving all of Devon, we take great pride in every project we deliver — from extensions and new builds to refurbishments, conversions, and bespoke construction work.
