Rivercoombe Building Company is a well-established, family-run business based in Teignmouth, proudly serving clients across Devon since the 1970s. We specialise in a wide range of building services, including new builds, extensions, renovations, and property maintenance.

We are currently looking for an experienced General Multi-Trade Worker to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled and reliable tradesperson who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a close-knit, professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out a variety of building tasks including carpentry, plastering, tiling, brickwork, and general repairs
Working on residential and light commercial projects
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and site supervisors
Supporting other trades as needed and contributing to a clean, safe work environment

Requirements:

Proven experience in a multi-trade role within the construction industry
Strong skills in at least two of the following: carpentry, plastering, tiling, brick/block work, or painting & decorating
Full UK driving licence
Own tools and transport preferred
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team
CSCS card desirable but not essential

Rivercoombe Building Company is a long-established, family-run business with a proud history of delivering high-quality building work across Devon. From bespoke new builds and extensions to detailed refurbishments and renovations, we are known for our skill, reliability, and personal service.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tradesperson who takes pride in their craftsmanship and is looking for consistent, rewarding work with a trusted local company.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out all aspects of first and second fix carpentry
Installing doors, windows, skirting, architrave, staircases, and kitchen units
Working on timber framing, roofing structures, and bespoke carpentry elements
Reading and working from technical drawings and site plans
Liaising with other trades and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised site environment

Requirements:

Proven experience in residential and/or light commercial carpentry
Strong knowledge of both first and second fix work
Own tools and full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Professional, reliable, and committed to quality workmanship
CSCS card is desirable but not essential
